Our hot market is still getting hotter. However, we may be in for a bit of a cooldown soon.

The numbers are in and the fact remains that we are still in a strong seller’s market in Mount Pleasant. Our average sale price has gone up by almost 7% and our average days on market has gone down by 7%. Homes are selling in an average of just 55 days.

In certain price ranges, we are still seeing multiple offers for homes that are priced correctly. However, we are seeing foot traffic start to slow down a little bit. The market may be starting to correct itself.

We’ve had an extremely hot market for the last year or so, and people have been pushing prices up to a point where buyers are starting to pump the brakes a bit. It doesn’t mean the market is going down, but it does mean things could slow down for a bit.
